About

A longer, better life starts with what’s on your table. Good food, bought close to home, cooked simply, and shared with people you care about.

That’s the whole idea behind The Long Life Table. Not more rules, tracking or supplements. Just everyday habits around food and belonging that are easy to keep, and enjoyable enough that you want to.

Where we come from

We grew up around Sardinian kitchens, where food follows the seasons, the greengrocer knows your name and a pot of beans and greens is an ordinary Tuesday. Nobody there calls any of it a wellness routine. It’s simply how people eat and live.

Now we live in London, and we wanted to find out how much of that everyday rhythm still works here. Quite a lot, it turns out: the markets, the local shops, the simple dishes and the habit of sitting down together.

What you’ll find here

  • Buy Better: how to choose at the greengrocer, the market and the supermarket shelf, and how to read a label in seconds.
  • Find Better: the London shops, markets and producers worth knowing.
  • Cook Simply: everyday dishes with few ingredients and little fuss.
  • Why It Matters: the evidence behind the habits, explained plainly.

What we’re not

We’re not a diet, a biohacking guide or a list of things you must never eat. We don’t sell supplements. When we talk about health, we stick to UK guidance and good evidence, and we link to our sources so you can check them. Nothing here is medical advice.
